Thermage Treatment
Treatment is started after calibrating the ThermaCool RF generator and Treatment Tip. The Tip is applied to the skin along the grid lines placed previously, assuring thorough, even application of the RF energy. The patient feels a sensation of cold, then heat, then cold again. It's especially important that the patient remain still during the cooling cycles to avoid thermal injury to the skin. Each application of the Treatment Tip lasts about 2 seconds, then the Tip is moved to the next square on the grid. A typical treatment takes less than an hour. In majority of cases, an immediate tightening of the skin can be observed. After the procedure, the grid marks are cleaned from the face.
